    Dommies rock!!!

Here's mine; Its an 88 with kickstart engine and adjustable damping on the rear shock as standard :eek1. Its modded with a high level front fender, Renthal twinwall bars with ktm handguards, Arrow single exhaust, braided brake lines.

Its currently in the back of the garage while I persevere with a flippin annoying ktm but planned mods are some givi pannier racks, better forks and better brakes, and a seat that doesn't leave me with 'dommie ass'.

miketron ..you'll need to firstly upload your photo/photos to a website that'll host them for free, then copy the link that you are given into the box that appears ( click on the little square with a mountain image that appears at the top of the page when you reply to the thread)
A simple and easy site to use to upload your photo to and get a link is http://tinypic.com
you won't see the image appear on here until you either preview or submit the reply.
Not well explained I'm afraid but steers you in the right direction and with perseverence you'll get there!
Oh ..I think with the tinypic site you will be given several choices of link after uploading. If you copy the one for forum use then you probably don't need to click on the little mountain box ...just paste the link directly onto the page .

Anyone remember my old introduction post? That's how my dommie used to look.

Now it's had some mods last year:

...and hopefully next week I'll be able to post a fully restored version of the bike. Why? This is why:

That's a nice location for it. I think it doesn't get to warm there. The capacitor(s) in the CDI unit don't like high temperatures. That's why i don't want to place it to close to the enginge. I think Iám gonna place it in the same place, or at the back of the motorcycle if i can find a place.

    Thanks.

yeah, its been fine so far there, thats the easiest place to stick it without cutting up the harness...all you have to do is extend the simple three wires to headlight area(and signal wires if you want front signals. the cdi could go in the airbox or inder the seat, or under the rear fender even by the rectifier, but on the carb seamed the simplest....

I like what you did with your dommie. Driving without all that plastic is so much fun, I would never go back :clap
The dommie to the left is mine.
