Me too. Loved Haga in his prime, awesome to watch. Find it hard to watch such a great rider now that he appears to have lost most of his edge.

He left it all on the track in 09 battling Spies for the championship.

Yeah that year should have been his crown. But we love him no matter how it ended. He is the Sultan.

He's still got the speed. Just not the bike.

His ride in the BSB was as good as anyone's last year but he didn't make much of an impression. I always liked him and would like to see him do well, but I'm not optimistic.

My feelings are the same, the whole BSB thing last year was bad and he will likely not make any impact.

I'm sure this is in the thread somewhere, but I suddenly thought of one of the greatest WSBK battles ever, 2002 Imola between Bayliss and Edwards. Just watched it 3 times. Bayliss is one of my fave moto racers ever, any class. And this was the height of Colin's career:

    Miss it.

    +1 on Bayliss.
Everyone will go on about "Yeah, he's saying that coz he's an Aussie of course", but Troy is "the man".
How many other riders have climbed on a MotoGP bike for a giggle and promptly spanked them all?
Bloody good to watch too. :clap

Troy Bayliss is the man. GP victory as a wild-card. The duel with Edwards for the WSB title. So many other great races from him.

Guintoli for the championship win. He'll need to win a few more to cement it, but things are looking really good for him since the first race weekend double.

I thought it was the "no-soiler" thread, and frankly, with you typing in bold font, it made me soil myself.
