Did you say that the Cee Bailey W/S from the old 800GS will not fit the 2013 GS? I have an 18" CB W/S that survived when I totaled my 09' F650GS and it appears that it will fit my new blue 800GS. Have not installed it yet, but holding it up to the bike it seems to fit.:D

I didn't have the enhanced bracket on my F650, had 21000 miles and no problems without it. I'll try the W/S on the 800 later this week. Thanks for the info. :D

    Hi,
First ever post here. Been searching forum for long, but never posted. Guess the logic way to start is with a photo of my ride, and introduce myself. My name is Miguel and live in Lisbon, Portugal. I've bought my motorcycle last year, so it´s a 2011 Sun Yellow F650 GS. I'm really, really, happy with her. It´s a great bike that takes me anywhere, urban, road, motorway or off-road (not that I've tried that much).
    So here she is:

Have some experience in forum talk. Classic cars related foruns were basic school for me. I can even quote...

Much better than the OEM, but that's not too hard. More stability is what I noticed. I'm slightly big for the bike (180 cm), so TT windscreen doesn't do the job completely. It moved the turbulence higher, but for longer rides I'll need the deflector.
The seat is really bad. That in time will change also.

Don't see too many people with the calsci screen, I really like mine. If you need some extra KX guards let me know I have the set I never used.

    Apparently the screen looks hideous.

At the start of winter I was doing long commutes across town at freeway speeds at 6am every day. It was minus 4C most mornings. I wore my open face, and with my improvised cup holder I drank my morning caramel latte while zipping through the mist.

I don't even need my glasses on. When it rains, I stay mostly dry as long as I'm moving.

Looks like crap - but works.

    I have this theory:

    Looks good

    Is cheap

    Works

    Pick any 2.

Yeah it is not the prettiest thing but it is not terribly ugly either. I was sick and tired of getting blown to bits on the highway and picked mine up and haven't looked back. Even w/an Arai XD I do not have to worry about buffeting.
