Hey Land, I ran into an old high school buddy of yours up at the Rosman gas station on Sunday. Nice guy, but I forgot his name. Rides a Rocket III. It is a HUGE bike!

He was talking about "the luckiest guy he knows" who was a school teacher. That perk up my ears, but when he went on about how this friend of his goes riding for a month or more every summer, I just started smiling. I said to him, ain't Land Wife just the greatest?

We had a hardy laugh before he did a 15 foot burn out up the street.

Was his name Marland, maybe? Kinda blonde hair? He's the only guy I can think of with a Rocket III. I haven't actually seen him in nearly 25 years.

Oh, wow, so this was a unique run in, cool! Marlan, that was it! He said he keeps up with you through facebook, so give him a shout.

He followed my 40-day trip a few years ago. I think that he has since killed his Facebook account. Don't know if the two were related or not.

Hi guys, this might interest y'all. A Triumph dealer nerar Columbia ( I think Ridge motorsports) is putting on a show of the new Triumphs at a British Pub in Columbia - The British Bulldog. This will be Sunday 14 April. We'll probably be going with some folks from the Upstate BMW club. Perhaps leave Greer at about 9:00 and take backroads. Let me know if anybobdy is interested. Bob
