Spring in Death Valley sounds like the place for me. Count me IN. :clap

Ladybug0048/Sherry and a friend, I will pickup-truck camping with a couple of tents. I don't know about the food, may I decide later? I'll be there Sunday 3/24/12 and leaving Sunday morning 3/31/12.

I will be riding the Superbug :pynd(DR200)

The Superbug :pynd has sand experience.

LittleWan tells me to "Make Sand My Favorite", we'll see how that works :huh I'm not a noob but I ride like one so take it easy on me. :D

I hope to find some cool relics and spring desert flowers. :flug If that fails I know the stars at night are awesome and there are no sasquatch in Death Valley. :thumb

It'd be great to meet at the LB show, but I have a friend's 60th birthday party that weekend that goes to about 1 a.m. I don't think I'm going to be capable of human interaction on Sunday (much less operating a motor vehicle). :freaky

Have to meet everybody at the rally :clap Thanks though'

Perhaps we can request for a special noob/beginner session if we have enough participants ?

Alright, put in on the IN list. Gonna try and make it for this one from VA. It's tentative at the moment (due to work & financial obligations) but I've been wanting to do this one for a while; that and I might be able to see family at the same time. I'll either be trucking in with a KTM 525 or riding in with a Suzuki DRZ400.

This far out I think there will be two others with me, so I guess I have two "guests" until they speak up.

2+ days is not enough time for me to explore DV so I will be either going earlier or staying later. I bet a week would be a good chunk of time in the desert.

denis, once you do the entire death valley, the rest of the world will look easy.....:D

try your best to make it and we'll see you.

+1, what dave said, 2+ days is not enough..

great to hook up with you again. i''l hold the spots for 2 more.

that's awesome norm to join us. bring the rest of the gang.

dv is the contrast of silverton and durango. we will be riding below sea level, almost everything is brown of varying shades, and dusty. its a different beauty but the riding is ovewhelming. ride as far as your fuel range will allow you. we have choices of easy to challenging. there's also some high elevation but i'm afraid there will still be snow. no problem for you though. you guys from high country have the skills that were forced upon you...:D

good to have you ruben. which bike?

If I have to decide now I'd say GS1200. I gotta get my money's worth out of it!

good job for keeping up with the spirit of adventure riding.

    yes you can do it!

try harder. look at the brighter side (yes you will feel the sun and you go back with a tan)

    :thumb

chris, i don't blame them. once they feel that warm sun on their face and skin in late march...who wants to go back....:cry

btw, wearing shorts in the campground is optional.....:lol3
