A simple cruise up and back - nothing too special, but a very pleasant day. Proper breakfast (sausage AND bacon), trinkets and baubles from Aerostitch, lunch in Duluth (at the Clyde Iron Works - very acceptable) and a stop off for pie and coffee on the way back.

Pie was - well, it was OK, but not fabbo, but even mediocre pie is OK. The boring local at the diner breakfast bar added some, er, local colour. In the end the only way to stop him talking was to leave the diner................

    :rofl

Sorry to ditch you Spike, just a question of amount of daylight hours.

Actually had a real turkey dinner for a change this year. So nice not to be at work.

Just me, Ma, and Gram again this year. Lovely turkey dinner, fresh pumpkin pie, lots of coffee, and didn't see snow until returning to the metro.

Hope you all were similarly amused, entertained, fed. :thumb

Any Thanksgiving that allow for a few hours riding time is a plus.
Bike is now full of ethanol free 91 and Seafoam mix.
Hard to look outside and believe this morning was so warm.

Had a great day as well. Dad's wild rice & sausage stuffing rocked, as always. And I had triple desserts. Probably won't eat for a week.....

I did my best to eat all the food Pinecone and Flash had been working hard to make.

    :dg

I didn't eat it all, but I made a pretty sizeable dent in what was there. *burp*.

    Good times.

Yes, very good riding year this year. Seems like winter was a little delayed starting too, it was nice to ride up until Thanksgiving. Now the roads are salted the main bikes will go to bed, but the KLR650 might be brought out on occassion if there are clear enough days.
