The rules say 48 hours, but this thing is stuck in a spot most people don't seem to be into riding at. I would love to see this move west. I really don't mind one way or the other. Game master has to make this call......
On the one hand it is moving, but it would be great if it could move a bit faster than early next week. I apologize to all for not getting the mascot in the mix yet, life and work have gotten in the way so far. Believe me I wish I could spend more of my life on a bike, and not dealing with all the other crap one has to, to stay on one.
Grab. I took a shot of Miles because gettign any kind of decent image of the stands at Dover International Raceway at night with a set of bike headlights was just not working. In the second pic (file photo) you can see the stands behind Miles. If the grab is good I can either drop the tag anywhere tomorrow or give you all a nice lil spot in the Blackwater on Monday if momma nature cooperates.
Nice grab...I was looking for miles for the original shot, but couldn't find him...and I had to be back home for an engagement later than night. Nice one...
Assuming you came in off 13, if you had gone about 200 yards further around you would have found him. He is on the highway side. I was unaware, until this morning, that his eyes glowed.
Yeah I figured that out once I got home and my buddy told me where he was....the eyes are AWESOME!!! I did not know that they glowed either...I'm jealous now...LOL
Nice grab! If by Blackwater you mean WV, that would be cool! My favorite place to ride of all time. Monday is withing the 2 day period as well.
Not WV, it will; be here http://www.fws.gov/blackwater/ Technically, the new location will be outside the 48hr limit (by about 12 hours), but my schedule will not allow an earlier drop
Gent's, I am sorry, weather and few other things prevented the ride today. I will, however, be headed out early tomorrow to drop the tag. I have also picked up a mascot that I feel is suitable for people that play tagging games. Hopefully you folks are happy with it.
Your new spot is at the boat launch, at the end of the road, on Elliott Island MD. Jump off point is Vienna MD and from there you have 16 miles of wonderful, twisty tarmac taking to you get Mr. Nut. In this shot he is seen with his twin who is playing the ADV USA TOR. If you see any of these guys on the road, stop and lend a hand. I rescued 5 of them today! When you get to the boat launch you will see this old pavillion Mr. Nut is residing it the rafter up on the left hand side as seen from where you pull up to the pavilllion. GO GET HIM and enjoy the ride. One word of caution; check the tide charts. There are places where the road will have water over it during and for and a couple hours after high tide. Passable, but...........
ADV USA TOR? you say... Not seen this thread... Like I've got time Haven't played any TAG lately 02TAC, great looking pictures
It was a GREAT ride out there...THANKS!!!! As I stated in the USA TOR thread I didn't get the picture at the pavilion. just spaced out once I got back there..I think I was thinking the tag was the vienna sign shot. But 260 mile round trip I will just place them together and send up a new tag.
Nice job Ovoid, I look forward to seeing where the Nut Brothers go from here. Feel free to split them up.
