My new Handy Lift (standard model with optional vise) arrived today. I have to say, its MUCH nicer than what I thought it would be from the photos, this thing is very well made. I'm quite impressed with the build quality and design, looks like it will last longer than I will, and much more stout than the Harbor Freight model I was looking at last week. While I like the HF for $ 300 on sale, I absolutely love the Handy even though its 3x the price. My back feels better already....Recommended.

Send it to Computrack and get it realigned. No need to pitch it.

I've bought several Handy lifts from CL for around the same price as the HF.

Thanks Steve! My "Barn Find" this past summer, languishing in a cheap, run-down warehouse, parked in 2001 by the original owner and ignored by him. chassis # 44 of 50 and 3,817 original miles on it. I've got it running and am continuing to restore it. By Spring it will be 100% !

I have an electric Handy... it is a brick, i.e. does what it is supposed to do and has a shaft... You bump it up to exactly where you want it, and there it stays.

Major deal on it; motor was blown. Grainger had the exact motor. A little fiddling for an hour, poof! I am sure it will serve me well for decades.

Put it this way: I would host three or four go-go dancers on my Handy. Dunno about the Harbor Freight

Oh, right. I read about this one on Wild Guzzi. You've done very well,,,,not too often the 'costs' of motorcycle ownership can be offset at the very start of ownership.
