The current Boxer is so good, there's no real reason to press ahead I think.
Let Triumph, Honda etc. show their material an then later in 2012 we'll see the
1250LC Wazzerboxer, rolled out with all the necessary accessories.

I'm going to get one,I can't see how the watercooling will make it a lesser bike than the aircooled.
So what if it weighs 10lbs more?
Many riders could stand to loose 10 lbs any way (judgeing by information in other threads:lol3)
And if you get 20 or so hp more than today it easily compensates for the weight.
I as I wrote earlier am certainly going to buy one, I'm going to be the coolest guy around Starbucks and I'll wear my whale foreskin suit to top it off.
AND it's coming however much moaning there is on all the fora around the globe.
Maybe there'll be some legislation compelling each wasserboxer rider to have a guy walking in front waving a flag to warn the population of the progress coming:rofl

On balance, if a builder made what we wanted, we'd never want anything. To stay in business, a builder must continue to deliver 85% goodness and 15% perpetual annoyance. The unpleasantness keeps us hoping that the next version will solve our 15% troubles. And it will, but it will be replaced with a different 15%. The moral, be satisfied with what you have. It never gets any better, only differently worse.

Brilliantly put. And like everything else, you buy so long as the "balance" is acceptable.
