I have some problems with the app. It crashes frequently when i use it, and of course in the middle of nowhere.

I use the app with Sony Xperia Z.

Been thinking about this app. When you use the app and the website, is your stuff just magically in both places? I mean, if I figure a track on dualsportmaps.com, then open the app on my phone/tablet, is it just kinda there?

You need to press a button to synchronize them, but it is very simple to do.

Figured as much. Any plans to add street routing as well to create the whole package. I'd pay $40 for that!

    Thanks!

I have not done them yet. It is a lot of work to orient the maps well.

Do you have any other details for me? It seems sort of obvious to say this, but the app doesn't crash for me so I need some more information to work with.

I understand your point. Its like when you take your care to the workshop to see about the "clonking" sound. When your there, the sounds gone.

What i remember about the phenomenon it usually happens when i've been riding for about an hour. After that i have to reset the app and sometimes even the phone.

The easy answer must be that i lose my internet connection in the backwoods.

    What is your suggestion?

Google reports crashes to developers. I do not see any in the there for a Sony. In fact, according to them the app has crashed only 9 times in the last 6 months (that is for all users). I don't know why your crashes are unreported though. The few errors in the log are decidedly non specific. More akin to problems in Android than with the software directly. Sorry to not be more helpful friend.

I don't remember if I put the link to Tioga Forrest but it is already an overlay.

Bald Eagle was there already too.

I just uploaded Loyalsock State Forest. Rectifying these maps is tedious work. I burned 2 hours of my life doing those two. I expect photos of muddy motorcycles in payment. ;^)

I've downloaded the regions I am interested in but get nothing but pixels on my screen and the circular search icon is going constantly. Absolutely nothing shows up even when I put in a local address.

I must have set up something wrong, any ideas?

    Thanks,

    RHM

Try using the + - buttons and give it a second or two to load the tiles

Question., im thinking about getting the new Google nexus 7" tab which I believe is android 4.3 or 4.4. Is there any ballpark eta for having dualsportmaps work for these os if it isnt already? Psyched and I think ill also be coming over to the world of 7" tabs instead of a the garmin even on the dirt bike...!
