    Nice one Pezz.
I have a honda VT250f in the shed that I am going to graft an xr or xl front and rear on to one day. I either seem to have the time or the money but not both at the same time :lol3

Yep, Pezz... power is a good thing 'n all... BUT... does he want it to turn? :huh

Here was my take on it :deal (I found it in racing...??? :huh )

:huh Not even (Chad) Superman (Reed) could make THAT fly...!?

Well it sure as heck ain't no motocross bike... :eek1

That thing would steer like a Caterpillar grader... and fly like a Norwegian Ski jumper with Mr T's bling 'round his neck!!! :lol3

Maybe with a 6 foot long rear swing arm and a paddle tire on the back, it'd be half a chance as an open class hillclimber or to shift some sand in the big dunes down at Glamis (So Cal.)... but fling it around an MX track... I don't think so? :huh

I guess I can appreciate it from a backyard engineering/built at home in the garage/scrapheap challenge point of view, but any bike with a top frame tube of that length and a v-twin motor hanging under the steering head, ain't really got "cornering" in mind exactly... :huh

There's probably a good reason why Daniel Sordo and Sebastien Löeb don't drive WRC in 6.5 liter V8 stretch limo's...?! :evil :lol3

I'm in the middle of my KLX build, I was just downstairs degreasing my RZ engine getting it ready to slot into it's new frame, I'm trying to organize my backup bike build for this run, and I still have to do some serious work to my 640 after it's last trip...

Where the hell am I supposed to find the time for that?

And besides it hasn't met the reserve and it's $800 already, way to much for something that needs so much work.

(That and taking over another mans project just seems dirty...)

I have an old honda vf750f which is leaking every kind of fluid known to man and it is trying to eat itself from the inside out.
What do you reckon could be done with that then?

I'm thinking a V4 dirt bike might be a bit interesting.

    G'day Pezz,
Unfortunately I don't recall the details of this bike, but I saw it at the Honda Four Rally in Gatton earlier this year.
He said his mates told him he was on drugs when he started building it, but it was very well done, to the point of looking factory built. It's almost too pretty to actually get it dirty...

i got an old CB250 twin. put some knobbies on that and raise it a little, would be a fairly good bike. revs hard, and is not slow by any means.

    what do you reckon,

1974 cb250 frame, with an old tt350 forks? will have to keep the rear suspension as the twin shock cause i dont want to bastardise the bike as its eventually getting restored.
