So I hit the Doc man up today about running and if I would be able to do it, his answer is Yes I will be able to run. My question was completely based on my hopes of doing the Tough Mudder next year....anyone want to start a team and participate?

I've never done a mudder but if we get some folks together I might give it a shot. I think my best 5k time so far is 23ish minutes.

Maybe we could do some shirts up,kind of basic logos, then we could get Keith McKenney to Tydy (?) for us and have a bit of fun with the whole thing. I am quite sure you would be way faster than the rest of us since you actually run it sounds like.

Well I survived the night. I truly believe that I should have stayed the night in the hospital just from the pain management perspective alone! But then again they didn't ask my opinion. What to do today

I'm in, my 5k time is nearly twice of Bill's but I finish . Been working the stationary bicycle and elliptical and plan on hitting the street running after the new year.

Awesome! Honestly it doesn't even have to be the "Tough Mudder" event, it could be one of the smaller ones which seemed to have popped up around the area. My trainer is doing one somewhere local in the next 2 weeks and said he would get me some intel on it, they did a small one down at Eagle Bay this year. So it shouldn't be hard to find one. I am really just looking for something to motivate me and have some fun in a weird beat yourself up kind of way. Sana said she is not interested but I know she will get on board once we start training and having some fun. I am not much of a a swimmer so that is something I will need to work on.

I would normally agree with you but with my pay check missing 4 days pay I will have to entertain myself with the parts stash on hand. :
I need to read and understand MD's new gun laws and what I need to do if anything to be compliant.....weird for me to use the word compliant. I also want to get a CC permit for Virginia so this will give me time to sort through that as well. Hopefully I can stay focused long enough to sort through this stuff.
