Looks like this is turning into an ADV rally. Should be interesting.

Cool ride and good use of the bark busters at the end. I hope to make it up there this year

Most all of that single track you were riding is less than a 5 min. ride from my garage. I get to ride that from home with no pavement and no loading of the truck. If anyone wants to come up and ride it, let me know!

I get the desert the same way. Same with pal too. No commute, get right to it.

Brents, me too. I live in Sierra Meadows area. Do you happen to know any other good single track that leads up to Sierra City?

Single track up the west side of 89 to Sierra City is harder to come by. I know some good big bike stuff up that way, but not true dirt bike single track like in the 06 area near us.

I want to ride that too! I will be free in about two weeks, night-school will be over then.

How is the snow? Or is there any at all now?

Most all of the snow is gone. You might find a patch, but nothing to close a trail. It's really good up there right now!

    Hi all,

I have been lurking on this thread for a while now. Maybe I'll get out and ride with some of you one of these days.

Currently I am looking for a place to park my small box truck/toyhauler/RV (19'). If you are interested or know of a situation that might work, please PM me.

Here is a copy of my ad on craigslist:

Graduate student at UNR looking for quiet and safe parking spot for small box truck RV during the week. Fully self-contained (only need dry camping), clean, new looking. Gone most weekends.
Will pay $50 month, or extra for WiFi, use of secure garage for dirt bikes, and/or washer and drier. Up to $200 month.

Mature, respectful, quiet. Parking spot must be safe and quiet.

I currently have a great situation, but the house is for sale so I have to move. Excellent references.

Alright guys, anyone down to ride? My vote is Prosser OHV area, or something with trees.

Will start between 8-10am depending on who's attending...

I'll be back in a couple of weeks. I think the weekend of the 23rd. If my bike starts I'm in. Oh, and I have to beat on the subframe and change the handlbars after my last ride from just before I left.

Rancher put up a 4 high barbed wire fence just that day, where there hadn't been one for the last year that I've been riding that area. Can't remember if I put this one up or not.
