I don't know Uncle Tom, That "hill" was the longest, nastiest, rockiest, most unforgiving thing I ever tried to climb!!:deal

You better be on the gas the whole way! Don't stop!!! Whoose-my-daddy had to ride my bike a quarter of the way up last time. I was whooped.... and needing O2 badly!!

You guy's have fun with this, and make sure to take plenty-o-pictures for us skeerdy-kats!:rofl

Bike prepped, bag packed. I believe we're going to have two RAZR chase vehicles.

Bashed my clutch cover yesterday going through rocks enough to deform it and now have what sounds like a clearance problem behind clutch cover when actuating the clutch lever handle. Sounds like it's grinding on the case when the clutch lever is used. Even sounds like it might be grazing the cover with no-lever gear shifts. (Anyone ever experienced this?)

It's Rekluse and shifts fine without the lever (other than some slight sounds even then). I want to get that clutch cover replaced prior to this ride - we shall see (no I'm not scared!)

I did mine last year. In my case I removed the small cover, gently bumped it with a hammer back out, retorqued & loctited the clutch cover screws & put the cover back on. No worries since. Get it fixed :evil

The country is about to go over the "fiscal cliff" and I am going on the "dark side" for the Rug Road ride. Going to put on hand guards and the MT 43 before the end of the week.

I think the only "hooters" you will find in Klondyke are on something with 4 legs or they are drooping so bad you will want some eggs with those pancakes.

"SHORT" I resemble that comment...now Julio...there is short. I am a bike whore...what can I say. However, Big-E...Big news. I bought a Beta RR 525 with 208 miles on it...I am doing the Big-E/Buddy thing and getting it totally customized for myself. I sold the XR 650R and am in the process of selling the XR 400...then I will have the PERFECT stable...GasGas EC 300 for the tough stuff, Beta 525 for the middle ground and the 990 ADV for the long distance camping stuff.

Ya...but you didn't have a heart attack...I am playing the "heart attack card". Besides...when you get a basically brand new bike with a KTM engine and better suspension for next to nothing...you pull the trigger. PS: If anyone else is in the market for a similar scenario, let me know...I know of another one. The story is it sat in the sun, so you will have to spend $250 on new plastics, but this one has like 800 miles on it.
