The only way I know of is through Legune Station and then you have to go the last few ks by boat. Crocs everywhere
Might have a go at getting from the Telstra Tower at Adelaide River through to Darwin River on Monday, anyone done this track?
Karen and I are going to Adelaide River tomorrow morning for the country music muster.We are taking the camper and 2 little bikes. I will ask some locals and maybe go for a spin up there and have a look. We went a fair way in a few weeks ago and it looked like the track came to a stop. Will let you know.
My DR went to a new home tonight. Sorry to see it go but the Tiger will do everything the DR would and a bit more. Also had to make a bit of room for the Ural.
Gents... lookin at headin north in a month and thinkin of goin from Camooweal to Elliot (via Rankin Rd and Barkly Stock Route..) Anyone been thru there lately..? I'm assuming its just your average dusty corrogated track/rd....? thanks lads! .
Don't know about the Rankin Rd, but the Barkly Stock Route was good 12 months ago when Podge and I did it with Phil & Bill. You'll need plenty of fuel, and if your planning on staying at Elliot, keep going, or turn left and go down to Renner Springs!
