Indy MotoGP - 2013 Roll Call!

I know we have a few threads regarding this year's event, but wanted to see how many "Inmates" are heading to Indianapolis?

We have at least four riders in our group heading up from FL, GA and we will be camping at the speedway, arriving Thursday.

If any of you locals have a good lunch spot inside the track or meeting place, it would be cool to set up a time for ADV get together? I would enjoy visiting with some other "Racing Thread Fanatics" while visiting Indi this year. If we pull this together, we will post a new thread early next week, so everyone has details.

I have attended IndiGP a few times and recognize coordinating a gathering is difficult with so much taking place. If it works great, if not I hope everyone enjoys the racing!

At least 4 of us from the Des Moines area. 2 aren't inmates though.

Heading down to Springfield on Thursday, from Springfield to the track on Friday morning.

I'll be there, along with my 3-year old. I'm from the twin cities, and will be meeting a friend of mine from the New Jersey area.

I'll be flying in, visiting my brother, and we will be at the track starting Thursday.

We'll be at the Mile at the Fairgrounds on Saturday night, too!

I'll be there, working. My father and 8-year-old son are also making the trip.

Plan to be there Friday around noon.

Maybe meet at the KTM tent - maybe 5 PM?

There are good concentrations of food/beer vendors inside the track boundary but outside of turns one and four usually. These two spots have the widest variety of choices, and most of the time the turn four area has the largest seating area.

I'll be there, but we take the cage, camp at the track, bring coolers of beer, cook big breakfasts and make good coffee!! I'll also be heading to the fairgrounds sat evening, for the mile and the donut burger!!!
be cool to hook up with others and have a beer or two! I'd be willing to have folks over to our campsite maybe Friday evening?? I can have some extra beer handy, just not sure exactly what part of the field we will be in or what vehicle we will have, but I'll let everyone know asap if this sounds do-able.

Yooperbikemike are you telling us you have 30-40 paddock passes so we can all hang out on pit road with you? What time should we show up?

Now that's a coincidence. I have 20 of those passes with that same number now!!

Rjbergen & myself will also be showing up Thursday & camping in lot 2. It would be nice to meet some of you FFs.

I can post my campsite location and what vehicle we will have when we arrive Thursday evening, so anytime after that, anyone is welcome to stop by, have a beer, and BS. ALSO, I WILL make some good coffee I the mornings, if anyone wants to stroll over for a cup, just sayin.
NOTHING like having coffee while the motogp bikes warmup in the garages!!!

Sweet. We usually listen to the bikes warm up and then go to Einstein Bros for coffee. It'd be a welcome change to stay put for coffee.
