I'm adjusting my etc for the third time this century and am wondering what sort of oil I should be using.

Not a problem , someone will help you with advice on adjusting the 'etc' ,
There will also be someone who is closer who will stop by at your house and for the price of a beer , help you adjust it .
The oil question is more technical , what oil do you have around the garage that is open ? That should do just fine till the 750 000km service .
Just remember to add fuel to the big tank behind the handlebars sometime . If you have a P/D tank , maybe fill it once every 6 months , just to be certain .

Wow, those pics of the 6 G/S PD's are some of the coolest I've seen! Never seen that many together before- thanks for sharing! :D

I prefer the /6 style etc's. It's like Munich lost sight of etc's by the late '70's.

I like it very much. Vey robust construction, cleans up like new no matter how much crap you cake onto it and sounds good too.....

It`s a shame they dont make them any more, best looking tail pipe for a G/S, I reckon.....

Good to hear. I got one on my pd. Are you running it without the baffle? I've only ridden the bike for 50km before pulling it to bits. You are right about how well it cleans up. It just looks a bit long.

Yes, running without the baffle, it`s not too loud and sounds sweet when you crack it....

I like how it looks longer that it should.....

Geehi at the Koz Rally. We try to line up the G/S's (last 2 years) If everyone I knew who had one showed we would have around 30 I reckon.

Your bike looks great and I have to admit, the look has some strange appeal.
