I'm looking at getting one of these wonderful multitasking tools, And the 3/8" adapter: And I was just wondering what the most common axle nut size is on the KTM and F series bikes that are popular enduro bikes. I don't think there's much I need a 24, 27, or 32mm spanner for on my own bike and since it doesn't matter which size I get, I figured I might as well get the most common size needed for other bikes that might need a hand with a tool or two. Probably a dumb question tho, since you probably always have the tools on hand, but if it doesn't matter, and I can be a tad more prepared, that would be good.
I just ordered one of the 24mm ones with the ratchet adapter myself. Since they cost more and look a bit more awkward, I got a few of the normal tire levers as well. Not a bad idea though
i contemplated getting a 24mm one too... but i wasnt sure that it would fit down in over the 800's axle nut... the ring spanner end seems fairly thick, and a socket 'just' fits down in there on the axle nut..... anyone confirm you can actually get it on the nut? .
Remember that the 'Motion-Pro-3-8-Drive-Adapter-for-T6-Tire-Lever' is only good for 40nm, and the rear axel nut needs 100nm. Casper
You guys must have smaller nuts than me My 24mm MP combo tire iron fits the rear axle nut on my F800GS just fine. It doesn't cover the entire nut, but certainly enough for me.

Cruz Tools makes a couple of nice combo axle wrenches as well, if you want alternatives. I've got a 22/27 mm for another bike. http://www.cruztools.com/products/axleplug.html
i picked up a 17mm/24mm combo wrench for $11.99 from rocky mountain atv - http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/44/-/256/731/-/13067/Tusk-Racer-Axle-Wrench/TUSK+WRENCH should do the job for front/rear on the GS
Yabbut, the hex end of the tire iron itself is good for 122 Nm, no need for the adapter for that if you have the 24mm version
