Ya Mike @ Full Throttle PS is great. Good guy, I built his website for him years ago.
Had some tires done there and he's always helped me out with stuff. Definitely recommend them if you're looking for a good repair shop in East County.

It's not far from North Park either... And with those prices it is worth the drive.

    North County guys..

$10 if your rim is off the bike at Hermans Tuning in Vista off of the 78 and Emerald. They will usually do it while you wait.

Any ride planning ongoing for Labor Day weekend??

I'm going to get out for a big bike backcountry ride on Sunday morning. Anyone interested in heading out? Thinking out by 7:00ish...done by 2:00ish.

Just completed the northbound portion of my trip from SD to SF. I've never done the HWY 1 ride through Big Sur, so that was my focus It was better than I thought it could possibly be. Really looking forward to the trip back home on Monday :clap.

    Your mother's
Of you have time and desire take the road across from the PCH through fort hunter liggett. I highly recommend it and stop and takes pics and look behind you on that first climb. It's pretty spectacular.

Just a heads up to any San Diego guys. I just sold my FJ1100, and I'm looking for an ADV bike. Interested in something bigger, like a Strom1000. I'm on a limited budget so I don't mind beat up bikes that need some work. $2500 ready to spend. I'd appreciate any tips !

That's a tight budget for a large displacement ADV bike, but not impossible.

Have you considered an XR650 (L or R)? Lots of them for sale in your price range and they are fantastic bikes.

I saw that the other day when you linked it to JJ. Looks to be cool trip! I'm likely going to be tied up at work between March & April so it's doubtful I'll make any trips this Spring.

I've never been. Is Sunday more preferential for some reason? I'm off both days but just picked Sat on a whim.

We have lots more at the house in VA. Stacy is moving back in a few weeks & will pass along some more stuff. Hope we catch up on a ride before I sail west.

Hola San Diego! My roommate and I were looking to plan a weekend ride away from it all and I thought I'd ask here for suggestions. We are looking to ride out on a Friday evening, ride some dirt and campout somewhere secluded (preferably forest instead of desert) and then return Sunday. We both have DRZs and are fairly capable riders but will be loaded down with camping supplies so don't want to get into anything too crazy. Any suggestions?
