Hi Omeo, looks like you had a good trip & great weather judging from the piccies, winters banging on the door up here but no snow so far

    Guys, great thread.

Sorry for my newbie question. I'm riding a year 2000 TDM850. I wish to fit a higher touring windscreen, to divert wind blast. I was wondering, if the newer TDM900 touring windscreens will fit the TDM850 models. Or any recommendations?

The screens are different in shape & i dont think it could be made to fit.
Skidmarx do a touring screen for £39.00 may be worth a try.
Yamaha had a screen on their offical accessories catalog Flip Up Smoke Screen +60mm 4TX-W0710-00-00

Eagle screens in Australia make a choice of screens , i got the highist which let the wind hit my helmet just under the peak - works well .

hi reaper, getting a sreen that is just right for you on the TDM is really difficult, see if you can borrow a screen off another tdm rider to try (only takes a few minutes to swap).
On my old mk2 I ended up with 4 screens before settling on the yamaha mid height optional sreen which was better but not perfect. Seems as tho its a trade-off between wind blast or noise & vibration
I have to say the 900 i now have is not much better.

Hi, my fellow TDMers! I've came to join the "brotherhood" ;) I have mine about 3 yr and done 50.000km. The machine has 60.000 km (38.000 miles). I've done a few mods, your question welcome.
