Thanks. I was looking at another site and sounded like 37 sold roll chart holders last year.

Did several of the roads in the Cajon Pass area this morning... Conditions are good! Dry, but still green.
Lots of shiny poison oak crowding the roads. Keep your elbows tight and be sure not to overshoot any corners.

Ended up going to the RFK after all on sunday...

Saw RAZR and twowheelsgood from the ADV community.
Did anybody else make it out? :ear

The morning fog was so heavy that you got damp just standing in it.

Took a different approach this year and brought wife914 along as pillion.

I am pretty familiar with the area, so we were able to just pick-n-chose the easiest dirt roads.
Wifey was nervous at first, but seemed pretty comfortable later in the day :clap

Made a point to intersect the official route often and get pics of the participants.

The fog stayed with us throughout the morning, no sunshine until near Silverwood.

Chasing a pack up Huskies up Swarthout.

Took a short break at Hill 582 (off route).

Nice little oasis up here, built by train afficionados.

Made our way over the pass, and into the sun. Fog was spilling over from the front side of the mountains.

Nice of the organizers to use one of the woodsy roads behind the lake.
(There are more that they did not use :evil)

Got to the lunch stop fairly early and not too many folks there.
Afterwards, headed back towards the Cajon Pass, taking a couple more dirt roads on the way home.
(I had wanted to take some dirt roads up to Crestline, but Hwy18 in the fog is :eek1)

    had a great day!

started off a little damp, then the sun poked out right when we got to the good stuff... the hard way GPS only track. that was a blast.
got to the malt shop at the perfect time.. we were all super hungry!
after lunch, did some more hard loops and made our way back to Glen Helen.

    pics.....

if your riding buddy stops, stop to see if he's okay.

I had to flag down a stranger for a pick up ride.

    the days numbers...

    0 beers consumed :huh
    100+ miles of dirt
    3 flats (on NMBMN bike)
    1 broken chain
countless kids lives saved because of a bunch of dirt bikers.
