Ahhh crap! This is what happens when I don't check this site. Missed it again. Instead, me (on the 990) and my boy (on the Husky) went to Bailey Canyon (2N49) over to 138 Silverwood. Then decided to do sumthin' different and went around the lake to (2N33) Pilot rock. I tried to get to Pinnacles, but zigged when I shoulda zagged. My boy said, "Dad, why are you riding so.....safe and conservative"? I said, "Son, let's trade bikes". So I jumped on the TE and roosted him. We ended up eventually in Lake Arrowhead and got some chow. Gotta do as many rides with him that I can before he's off to college. Rat bastard:cry. Anyway, sorry I missed hooking up with you guys.
Be safe on your trip Matt!

Any interest in pre-running some of the trails that will be on the Big Bear Run later this month? Black diamond stuff, basically. I can reach out to some D37 guys for a list and put together a ride.

Big Todd and I will pre-run some of last years Big Bear Run route.

Self-sufficient, accountable riders with at least Intermediate skills. Bring a well running bike, water, lunch, tubes, water, tools, GPS, water, and radio if you have one. I'll be on D37 freqs.

FYI, Redondo Ridge is not noob friendly

Meet Sunday, June 2nd at 7:00am at Starbucks in Big Bear, riding at 7:30am.

Route: generally stuff to the west, riding Redondo Ridge from east to west, then Crab Flats and down to the T-6 bridge. Flip it and come back up to Crab Flats, then likely easy dirt back to Big Bear, as Todd needs to be back by 2p. I can ride all day but we can make the call at T-6.

Post up here if you plan to join us.
