    Heated jacket + gloves. Had them cranked up to 11 on the ride home from work last night. Best investment I ever made for extending the riding season. The KLR seems to do OK running both, at least so far I don't appear to have drained the battery.

    I can now answer my own question.

    Ordered Sunday.

    New GoPro arrived Wednesday.

    So far so good.

    Haven't opened the box yet.

    Might wait until Christmas.:D

    A vintage racer friend of mine is luring me in with a bike that he has built to race. He's presenting a very tempting opportunity. It could be a nice change to my racing hobby.

    Where are you in NH? I'm trying to see how far south I have to go to ride another 300 miles and finish this season with 20k. I have 3 days off next week, heated gear (the bomb for extending the season!"), and access to a trailer to get me and the bike south enough to ride. I can handle cold as long as it's dry. Just wondering how far south folks are still riding? The weather has made it unsafe here since the 6th and I haven't been able to get away so far. I tallied everything up last night and the wild hair struck this morning. I just don't know how much trailering I'll have to do to wrap it up. Dang, it's been a great season and I hate for it to end. The fact that your season hasn't ended gives me hope!
