MB, normally I prefer to post reasons why I CAN go for a ride, but alas, I must post my inability to attend. I'm still comforting family members (funeral today) and think it might be the wrong thing to do at the moment to be gone all day having fun. I've got the Classic to bring together, trying to put together a Magical Mystery Tour over 4 days later in March, and then trying to work a Finke trip into the mix. Bikes are going to take a big lump of my time soon, because I'll have the time to do so. Have a good ride.
I have just returned from a trip to Bathurst on my TDM. All up about 3,000 kays using the Go Cruise plastic cruise control that clips around the throttle and rests on the front brake lever. It was fantastic, except I broke one trying to adjust it. Fortunately, I had a spare. They are the duck's nuts; I even use them through towns to keep the speed steady, but they are fragile, and cost $25. I was just looking in the vendors section and found this: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=839403 For less that $50 delivered (with the ADV discount) I reckon it's a bargain. I'll let you know how it works when I get it.

Guys, I ordered a Touratech high windscreen for Transalp 650. Unfortunatelly, it was a bit broken during transportation. I drilled a 2 mm hole to stop the crack and tried to repair it. However, it still needs some work to finish repairs and polish glue marks. If anyone needs it, I'll be happy to give it for free. Please PM.
