Im interested in a mtn ride, but weekends are no good for me for next 2 months, so I could do weekday, but I'd have to play it by ear.

My hectic social life....... ok, work... has me on weekends, and this is a busy time of the year for us.

So if a date is proposed, I'll try and fit it in.

If we went for a ride, we could get some of that mountain air and retail it to everyone on that other thread. What a cracker! And where is Troy from Sweden, as distinct to Troy from Albury? Maybe he's been writting another poem to stick in there.

Good to know things are looking up, Detlef. Or is that "things are looking up Detlef?"

And what is happening to us - seems that there is a migration to road bikes happening.

I've been looking for a ute/tonner. Found a ripper - XR6 ute, in KTM orange. Had a woody as soon as I saw it.

I haven't chased it up though. If I bought it, Alec wouldn't be allowed to drive it, for fear of repeating what happened to my EF. But then I started thinking further back.

If I hadn't thrown myself to the ground, I wouldn't have sold the kato. If I'd nt sold the kato I wouldn't have bought the LC. If I'd not bought the LC, I wouldn't be searching for a ute/tonner.

So maybe I should just take up throwing myself to the ground again? (Typed whilst sitting with a ice pack on my shoulder following half and hours exercise to fix myself up.)

    Life is confusing.
And I can't complain that I have a hard or difficult one.

That's me. Thought the DR might do the job but it lacks a bit of punch even with the pipe & carb combo. Looking for a twin, low maintenance, not too tall, upright riding position with a fun factor and sweet handling on mountain roads. Still on the list Versys, Ducati ST2, TDM900??, BMW R1150R. Tempted by a local low km V-Strom 1000 but just couldn't do it -dunno why :scratch

Any suggestions? (bring it on Unc!) :D

Pick a day, any day......I'll buy you a cup of tea in a styrene cup and a finger bun at Omeo. Perhaps Dobbo should pick a day, it might be easier for us to fit in with him. :ear

Perfect engine to bring back the Middle Tenere.
    HEY YAMAHA! We want XTZ250, XTZ 450, XTZ 660, XTZ 900 & XTZ 1200!!!!

Cripes, the WR250R could be the basis of one.
Do the same to the WR450F - turn the engine into a WR450R - and bang on the tourning stuff.
TDM with different suspension, wheels, fairing - they already have that stuff in the 660 & the 1200?

No, just keep plodding along with those POS XVS things and head down/bum up chiropractor financers.

I'm going out to work on the 350LC.

And Mark - it would do, except for the poor towing capacity. :fyyff

Um. I must have been getting the beer, 'cause I've got no idea what it is.
    Troy?
    Donks?

Or is he just having a senile moment?
