MotoGP:Gran Premio bwin de España (Jereth Spoilers)

    Wasn't sure where to ask this question. I just started watching MotoGP last year and now I love it. But I don't have any back ground in racing. So I am not sure of why they do certain things. Generally I can read up on it. But I can't find an answer to this one.

    I see some of the rider when entering a corner flair the inside knee in and out a couple of times. What is the purpose of that? For clarification I am not talking about sticking the knee out and leaving it out around the corner or sticking the leg out like Rossi. This is where they just flair the knee out and back in a couple of times when braking for the corner.

    A few riders do this while changing gear. If it's that, it's always the left knee which they move.

    Or sometimes they just take advantage of the opportunity while braking to air the lads out . . .
