Hey, guys.. Did a trip with my daughter today.. I wrote a ride report here: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=354729
This is the best pic from our June 08 trip through CO, WY, MT, and ID. Taken from the overlook of Medicine Bow Peak on the Snowy Range Highway in southcentral Wyoming. My 11 year old and I put on 1,500 miles in 6 days through some of the best riding country in the US. This Dads and Daughters section is fantastic!

This is from a couple of years ago, near the top on the 2820 road in Oregon. Met up with some neat folks over at Wolf Rock that day. Now she is 13 and rides an NX250. But she still likes riding pillion with dad. We're planning a multi-day trip together this summer.
Wow! I'm so happy to have found this thread. April and I just finished 680 miles in 3 days; about 120 on dirt. She was a real trooper. I'll be sure to show her this thread.
This is my daughter Jennifer in 2006 when she was riding a DR200. She got taller and wanted to be quicker and now has a DR650.
I found a 2008 picture of Jennifer. She is wearing her Crocs riding boots. Glad we don't live on a gravel road. Guess she is wearing her helment.
I finally have something to add to this thread. Sunday I finally gave my daughter her first motorcycle ride. She has been asking for a long time and now that she is 8 I thought I would take her around the neighborhood. She had a blast! Finally got to use the Autocom intercom as well. That was nice.
Shotgun's already behind the door for the girls'. How I'm gonna deal with all the boyfriends, weddings, cars, insurance and the like is beyond me. Maybe by then, I'll have a good case of Half-heimers and I won't have a clue what's going on. All I can hope is they'll bungee me on the seat & give me rides on the back of their bikes when the time comes.
Damn that's cute. If yer like me you'll just muddle along as best you can with two nickles in the bank acount, and a full heart ... that's getting the shit beat out of it by stupid teens. But hang though, by the time they hit 25, they'll start noticing how smart you're becomming. Of course, by then you'll be realising that you're a dumbass and getting dumber. Ah, life. Enjoy!
Here she is -Twelve going on sixteen and loves to ride on the back of my bikes. No long trips so far (but we're working on Mom, slowly). Have her fully indoctrinated with regard to safety gear and am being pestered to find her some proper riding pants. It's darned difficult to find proper street gear for kids. She's in a ladies XXS jacket.
If sons count too, here's a couple of my 10 year old, Eric, who's logged some major miles with me around Vermont & The Poconos. Bikes are in his blood bad!
I don't have any children, but I'll tell ya, Looking at the photo's of all the smiles , I know I missed out on something special.
