    Why thanks!
You can stop showing off with that "East TN" thing anytime now new dude. I'm trying to sell my soul to the devil to get money to move to that end of the state. But...the economy is so bad he's trying to pay me in rolled coins. :lol3
If you like Elvis, Tornados, and Gunplay, I might make a deal with you instead. :deal

Bah, never too late. Thanks. :lol3

As part of Liberia's 54 state park project, I'll be visting not one, but four park tomorrow. (10/20)

PM me (or reply to that thread in my sig) if you want to tag along and don't mind a few more points on your license.:evil

    This little 260 mile trip, all paved and as curvy as we have out here hits;
    1. Big Hill Pond
    2. Pickwick Landing
    3. Chickasaw
    4. Meeman Shelby
We pass right by Shiloh park as well. Also, If you're feelin' froggy, we can hit a "bonus park" (Pinson Mounds) and bring it up to to five! After this, you'll only have 49 more to visit!

    GPX file for the route.

We'll start at Raleigh LaGrange road early...but we'll have to watch out for B.A.M.B.I.

8Track, would have loved to have been out this weekend, but M&D are in town. We just returned from a three-day drive/visit in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Fall Creek State Park. The bikes remain parked while they are here. Soon enough, though.

No worries guys...We'll hit the road together soon enough.
I hear parts fall off of Red Bud's bikes, :huh and people who used to be my friends swear that they would rather spend a week in hell than ride a day with me...so it should be interesting when it all comes together. :lol3

As part of Liberia's 54 State Park Project I visited a few of our fine parks here in West, Tn.

Big Hill Pond State Park near Pocahontas, Tn

Nice little place. Campground, picnic area and of course, a big hill...and a pond. :evil
I may plan a spring camping trip there.

    On to the next park!

This park was the smallest, and most unique park I've visited. Not much there other than the Museum, but still the landscape was interesting.

Headed out. Looks like the cotton just got picked.

Ok, those are the closest I could come to proper ride reports...so here are the outakes...and the rest of the story.

    Sunday, 7something in the AM:

Damn Deer...No, it wasn't my wife yelling at me for tripping over stuff on the way out of the bedroom that morning.
Bambi was out in force. I was a mere minute or two away from Casa Del 8Track when they started jumping out in front of me.
I yelled at one on it's way by...Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? To which Bambi replied; "Look here you Pot Bellied Power Ranger, you keep leaving early, you're gonna wake up in ICU peeing out a tube" :huh
I'm still confused as to why hunters are quiet, wear camo and spritz themselves with deer pizz. I could be in a bright yellow chicken suit on top of an idling funny car reeking of gin and they would still walk right on up to me. Maybe I should take up hunting.
But I digress, Bambi was right...I need to let 'em have it this time of year. :lol3

So I took my first photo somewhere most native Memphis riders will recognize. First to guess it wins...absolutely nothing.

Ready to roll. All gadgets seem to be working...first one to guess how many gadgets wins...absolutely nothing. [IMG]

A few miles later, three Bambi's bounder across the road.
This trend continued for miles until I reached nine Bambi's. It's a wonder I'm alive.

Next stop? If you guessed Grand Junction, TN you win...absolutely nothing.

Saw some fishes at Big Hill pond. Yep, look closer. They are in there somewere.

Oh look dear, another jerk on a V-Strom.

Before it warmed up above 50, I only saw one bike. Yep, some dude on a Beemer headed west on HWY 57.

I "thought" this would be a cool photo. It was not. :lol3
    [IMG]

So this was the route I took...sort of. Pinson up above Henderson on the far right was my major detour. Had to get that extra park credit.

...and after it was done, this is how far I went. Yeah, I got "creative" a few times and went the wrong way. :lol3
    [IMG]

If you made it this far, thanks for reading. :deal

Hardware store do it yourself PVC tool tube.
It's simply a four inch piece of PVC around 20" long with a cap glued on one and, and a removable "test plug" in the other.
I keep chain lube, tire repair stuff and a couple rags in it. A handy strorage device if there ever was one.

I like it! Might have to investigate the idea some more.

Could double as a potato launcher. Wait! That would be the OEM exhaust for the C14. :rofl

Will be invading Middle TN in the AM. Plan on hitting David Crockett state park, may camp there, may camp in Hohenwald. Hell, who knows where I'll end up. :jose

Linked-up with 8trackmind today. Very nice fellow. Catch-up with him, and say "hey" sometime.

    Another ride sounds good, Jeff!

Great Photos! Why anyone would take pictures of a Pot Bellied Power Ranger, I have no idea. :lol3
It was good to meet you as well. Had a blast on our "where in the hell are we" trip.

Nice Kaw! Last time my bike was this clean was approx. the first 11 minutes I owned it. :rofl
