I was surprised to see how Jorge went into that corner. Marc was coming in a lot of corners on previous laps, but Jorge had the door shut tight.
I think Jorge's front was used up and he had to take the wider lines by then, or maybe as he said he figured he had Marc covered.
After Qatar I don't think anybody has MM covered yet in a close race. If they run away off the front as Pedrosa managed then they are safe. Once Marquez gets that worked the front is going to be a hard place.

Could be. I'm confident Marquez's performance is a direct result of the pep talk he received from Dean Adams.

JLo said he didn't think MM was that close?

You pass your pit board and it had been changed from "MM + 0.3" to "MM +0"

That looks pretty friggin close to me

I agree, he was even with him on the entrance to the turn. JLo must have seen him, but he committed to a lline through the center of the turn and MM slid wide into him. If JLo would have braked a touch longer and ducked under him with a late apex, I think he may have passed him back on exit?! At least it would have been close to the line.

Like I said on Sportbikes, that was a plain out racing incident, Jlo was way wide and Marquez was way hot.

I'd almost wager Jlo outsmarted himself counting on MM to go for it, he went wide betting Marques would cook it... which he did.

The issue being Senior "Butta" found Marquez directly in his path, MM MADE that pass, he was still trying to get the bike slowed down to, y'know turn, as Jlo was trying to complete his coup de grace.

Right, that was your first hint JLo as to where MM was

It seems like there is good chance that had JLo not left the the door open MM would have crashed right into JLo harder than he did or it would have been like the other miscalculated moves MM made early in the race where he barely missed JLo's rear tire as his speed into the corner was too hot. MM had to stand the bike up as it was. Like JLo himself said, he left too much door open. It was a racing incident.

Who cares anyway, while all that screwing around was going on Pedrosa was riding a mistake free race to take the checkered flag which is what I was hoping for.

I thought Lorenzo would run away with it. A brilliant ride by Dani and thank dog for MM.

Actually MM's move reminded me of a slow motion DP's move on Hayden in 06 only MM made it stick and didn't take out JLo.

Did it also remind you of:

-- Jacques' move on Pedrosa in '07?

-- de Puniet's move on Pedrosa in '07?

    -- Simoncelli's move on Pedrosa in '11?

    -- Barbera's move on Pedrosa in '12?

Pedrosa has paid his debt to society. Get over it already.
