Huge painted rock in the middle of no where. Painted as a memorial after 9/11. Located in Lacey Twshp, NJ.
The bikes don't show in the picture, but my buddy and I were riding our XR-200's beside the tracks and came upon this unusual RR crossing. I still have never seen another one like it. This was about 30 years ago just downriver from Glady, WV and just a few miles from Laurel Fork Campground, site of the recent Frolic in the Forest.
I can hear the engineers now... "OK now... is it the train on the right that goes first?" "Is that my right, or his right?" Great pic!
