    Trust me, you can do it if the alternative is paying thousands of dollars for a one-way rental truck. :nod

    My ass hurt so badly at one point when we were heading north that I pulled over and just slumped on the bars. Nobody has ever mistaken the DRZ for a touring bike so we knew what we were getting into.

    I am glad that you got done with your ride report. I especially liked the pictures of Simon and his inner thoughts. The "land of disenchantment" mirrored my thoughts about New Mexico. On my trip, trying to ride in the Monsoon season made things a lot harder than they needed to be.

    Thanks for your GPS tracks. I am keeping a log of them for my next GDR trip.
