Ok gotcha. Well my buds and I will be doin durty dabbers but don't know if we'll make it to this one. Call us pussies go ahead, really! But we have our "dirt" machines and then our "dual sports" and we're all kinda hesitant to scratch em (the dual sports that is)
    :rilla

See we have a feeling that the wr's and drz's of today will be like the dt/ct/at of the 70's; they'll get thrashed to shit all but a small few of them. And we'd like to have that small few 30 yrs from now, so that's why I'm not bringin out my perfect wrr to a "dual sport ride" - not that I need to explain - but I did anyway :D . You can go to a Harley event and not get checked for inspection and ride all street with all street bikes. Then go to an offroad event and get checked :deal But I do really understand why. The big brother is breathing down our necks enough about this crap, let's not make it easier for him to shut it down right!

We may seeya round in the bald eagle area. I'll keep my eye on this thread!

Roostboy, slap a DS kit on that smoker and get a sticker.
Nothing better than knowing you are "legal".
Baja and Procycle can fix you up with a "plug and play" kit.
You know it is only a matter of time till our wonderful state will not allow smokers to be inspected so get that 300 legal and enjoy riding by LEO.

If you want an excellent warm up for the rocks, you gotta go to Shade Mtn. It isn't as vast as a trail system as its cousin over at Bald Eagle, but it is very convenient to access the trails out of the parking area, and has plenty of rocks and enduro like trails. When in the parking lot, which is right on route 235, you have your choice of three trail loops.

I'll be up at the rattlesnake enduro as well, but won't be available to ride on Saturday with you. Did you ride the Foggy Mtn enduro this past Sunday?

Hey Frank.. The knee and ankle held together yesterday for a really good ride up in JimThorpe of about 40miles. Today its in good shape so Tammy and I are gonna be up for the Race. See you there!! We're gonna try and make it up Sat afternoon. She's already pre-registered. I;ll have to do it late.

My friend might be riding in it so I was thinking about tagging along. If I'm ambitious I'll bring my 690 along and do a little riding in the area.

Anyone know if the Allegheny-online.com trail maps are going to be posted elsewhere?

Turns out that there is a good chance that I will be up at Shade Mtn., sometime Saturday, probably around noon or so. My buddy Troy, (ruderupp), and I are going to do some suspension tuning at Shade, before heading up to the rattlesnake event. Let me know when you'll be there, and maybe we can hook up.
