    You mean this one: http://shop.ktm.com/uk_en/powerparts/exhaust/street/slip-on-silencer-3.html

I got it last week - makes a nice noise but is quite stealthy for your neighbours benefit and doesn't attract unwanted attention from the police. I got the one with the cat - it's more expensive but I want to do my bit for the environment.

It is lighter and also cooler running than the stock exhaust. You don't need to install any new engine map either as far as I'm aware, I haven't anyway and the bike runs fine, I just did the throttle reset and the 15 minute idle and all is good.

    Wasn't cheap though - £477:eek1

Steep price, but sounds like it works good.

    Thanks,

'12 here with the Uni Pod and Wings, no remap, no issues at all.

I run the larger diameter screened spark arrestor insert with no ill effects.

Does anyone know what this exhaust is? The only info I can find on the bike is on a Portuguese website.

I agree, cool looking slip on. Sort of looks like a Staintune.

Thanks for the link. You know I went through that thread and must have missed it. Guess it may not be worth pursuing:

"It´s handmade by a friend of mine here in Portugal. But i had to remove it , because the bike lost power in Low and High revs."

Getting ready to install my Wings. Instructions are for a EXC. After playing with this for a while, am I correct in assuming that we remove the stock metal captive washers, insert the spacer that Wings supplied on the clamp bolt into the rubber, and then bolt it up to the stock mount?

The stock can had 2 mounting bolts. My other question is are people mounting the Wings clamp to the stock front or rear mounting bolt position?

    Thanks for the help.

Sprouty: The owner of that bike said that can/set-up was fabbed up by a friend and though it looks nice, it didn't work so well, fwiw.

I had to use the db reducer in mine to keep it from stalling.

I have the uni on mine with smallest or max db killer-a lot of national forest riding here. Still have stock map and have had no "fueling" issues to this point. Told my brother in law that I was thinking of remapping. He's been riding it in my absence and told me that he loves the fueling on it and wouldn't touch it. Bike got 55-63 mpg on road trip last week. Not sure what I'll do about mapping.

so i fitted the LV today, no instructions but what a PITA to get to fit properly.

the rear heat shield mount comes with a clip nut, but is too large for the standard bolt - FFS !

I noticed the heatshield when installed touches the lower corner of the plastic.. again FFS. luckily its cool to touch but ill put a rubber bng there anyway.

anyone one else had probs instaling an LV evo 2 ?

Just bend the heat shield mount down. I have the same problem everytime I drop mine on that side. :lol3
