I can add another to the 3,500 mile club. Pirelli Scorpion Rallye. But at least it is cheaper. A subnote, on gravel over hard pack, it does not have the side to side grip of a TKC. Sype it and it is fine.

Oh, was I mistaken, did I post this on the "New Owners- Stupid Questions Thread", or on the "cranky b-itch thread"?

My F8 has taken to not starting in gear with the clutch in, it has to be in neutral which is a PITA sometimes, what's wrong with it?

Probably clutch lever switch or adjustment.

I believe it's a micro switch. Should be sealed from the elements. On aircraft we operate it (excercise) 50 or so times and that seems to work. When all is quiet, pull the clutch lever and see if you can hear the "click". If not it's a $30 part.

Side stand switch is misbehaving, or clutch pull switch is mis behaving.

Thanks for the suggestions. Sidestand switch seems to be fine and I think the clutch adjustment is good so I'm gonna go with the microswitch. It was intermittent for a while but now it doesn't work at all

Nope I really want to know, I am getting motion pro to make me an extended one and instead of pulling mine to get a straight line measurement it would be nice if someone has one like yourself. :evil

Suck, Bang, Blow is a faux biker bar in Myrtle Beach. I think that's the source.

Ok, my bike is an 09 and the clutch cables on the early years were found to be too short so that you'd run out of adjustment even tho the clutch was only half worn. I bought the new longer cable as I've run out of adjustment but got lazy and it has sat in the garage for 6 months. I blame winter.

    New PN 32 73 7 721 819 F658/800GS's

Overall length end to end is 110 CM.
Overall length of Sheath is 102.5 CM

    Good enough?

Switchgear? It does turn off after you reach a certain speed or travel a certain distance after completing the turn, I cant remember which.
