I have been fighting with KTM Cyclehutt (now Sturgis Cyclehutt) since last year about parts ordered and NEVER delivered or refunded. I still needed a fan for my radiator on 525EXC, so I went shopping. Found the exact fan on Amazon.com, from www.ktmpartsexpress.com. I ordered it on Monday and received it today, Thursday. I am not affiliated with any of the named companies, just a very happy customer sharing my experiences from another great company.
I have had good luck with http://www.cheapcycleparts.com/ also. Takes a good week to get the parts. Never a mistake on an order and prices are alwasy lower than a local KTM shop would charge.
What is this, a Munn Racing love fest??? You get a nice discount if you are a KTM Talk member. Pete (wearing his Munn Racing T-shirt)
I bought a motorcycle from chip. He even answered his phone while at the race track. Munn racing true and cool.
Here's what I do. I have a local KTM dealership that is just a KTM dirt bike dealer. But, they will gladly order any KTM part. I search for the best price I can find for any KTM part. That usually comes from Cheap Cycle Parts. I give that part number and price to the local dealer, and they always agree to match it. That way, I'm not just accepting the sticker price on expensive KTM parts, and I'm also supporting the local guy.
KTMpartshouse.com / Lexington Motorsports (Laynie) Were great to deal with. I got genuine and aftermarket parts for a rebuild. They will get my next order as well. Simon
