Not Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir, Salmon Falls Creek dam was built in 1910

This dam was completed in 1931

Hint - correct state, a river in the Payette River drainage.

After I put in my answer, I knew it didn't look right. Trailrider - I'm pretty sure you got it. The Payette Lake (McCall) dam isn't very tall so that's not it. Wixi'd Deadwood and it was built in 31 so you got to be right.

^^ I know the town/cafe store... not familiar with the cave, unless you are talking 20 miles down the road.

I stared at that pic for half an hour thinking: "It sure looks familiar. I think I've been there?"
    Finally it clicked. Adel Oregon.

    Ding Ding Ding... Winning!

Figured maybe the Bear wood carving would give it away. It's a great stop on a cold day. Usually a bunch of locals huddled about the wood stove eating peanuts and drinking beer.

    You're up TR....
