Some people ride to fit in with an image, others known as Motorcyclist ride for enjoyment of riding and they are not hung up on one brand. I ride them all, each type of bike has it purpose. When I have the money I like to keep a touring bike like an Ultra, a ST like a FJR, a DS like a DR650, a beast like a KTM 990A, a sport bike like a ZX14 and maybe a naked bike of some sort. The hard part is choosing what to ride.... When I'm broke I keep my favorite dual sport and sell the rest.... The DR650 is getting used the most now... Dang economy....
Just keep enjoying your rides and who cares what anyone else thinks. As far as a new bike goes, think of all the money you'll have for farkeling when the ones you have are paid off!
Howdy Ken, Beauty of a bike, congrats.I see from your blog that you are not new to bikes, so maybe I can get your opinion on the HD vs the BMW issue I seem to have myself stuck in, labels, perhaps. I've been on the BMW train for a few years now and would like to ask how you find the handling of the big HD as compared to the little GS, and other bikes you may have ridden? thanks, Bob
I suggest part of the problem with not being able to get one day service with the BMW is dealer related.
Winter just doesn't want to let go. It was 28 degrees on my commute this morning in Huntsville. And yesterday was the first day of spring:huh Snow and sleet in the forecast for tonight.:eek1 Like you I'm looking forward to the warmer days ahead.
