I've got the OEM KTM plastic 3 piece luggage. The top bag has a tie down bar across the front and back for strapping down another bag. Anybody got any pics or ideas for strapping down another small bag on top of the side bags. Like you can do on the Jessie's or TT or Happy Trails. Something to hook the straps to or something/somewhere to hook the RocStraps to for carring another bag on top............. I know I could drill and install little u bolts or little small handle thingys, but I would like to see if someone else has a better idea.
Can't remember Travis' name - NTL He always runs straps - like ratcheting tiedowns arround the side bags and the frame seems like a quick and good way to tightly hold and may be stack bags. Just a thought.
I get in to my box's on the road and with some thing on the top it would not let the lid hinge up, straps around the box or just straped to the top. If it was straped to a box that the lids come off or hinge to the back it would work maybe, just my two cents.
I know you didn't want to go to this much trouble, but this is as good a place to post this as any I guess; I make these little spools (I call em hookers). Easy to make on a lathe. I've made all sizes and different configurations. I have them on beer coolers, ATVs, everywhere. Anything with a hook (bungee cord, ratchet strap) will hook onto them. The ones in the picture happen to be powder coated, but plain aluminum looks good too. groundhog
