I'm in the garage yesterday reassembling my son's XR650l and the door is open. This guy walks up saying he saw my 625 SMC and had a question. I have a KTM 690 says he, it has gas and spark but it won't start. Any ideas he asks. Me, No, I don't do FI bikes, carbs only. At that he thanks me and walks away. KISS...

If it was possible - I'd be doing the Avenue of the Giants half marathon on Sunday... but I am still finishing my move, plus cat/garden-sitting for a friend for a week starting on 4/30...

We've been sliding further into the month lately, so I propose either next Tuesday (5/13) or Wednesday (5/14).
Where? The weather is getting better so maybe a place in Walnut Creek or Concord with a nice patio?

So, I don't think we've ever been to the Fish in Benicia.... It has booze, food, an outdoor seating area and quite a spectacular view ! Any takers ?

You folks coming from 'far away places' could take any number of routes to get there ? Probably not the cheapest food and booze......

    Just my 2 cents.

I volunteer my acre size backyard in Oakland (redwood heights) for a fri/sat sunset bonfire, byob - let's say first weekend of June and maybe byo-grillables an I can set up the weber as well ...enough RSVP'd and I'll get a keg (say 10 min?)

And maybe we can call it a housewarming

I'm up for up it. And as to housewarming, we'll try to keep the flames away from it.

FYI - bring a tent if you want to avoid a DUI - yard is big enough. :)

Is this tomorrow, or Wednesday? I'd like to make this and meet some of y'all, but I also can't find the Dead Fish in Benicia. There is one in Crockett though.

Not sure if this ride is happening this week ? I didn't see much interest after I posted.

My mistake, the Dead Fish is in Crocket.

I'd like to make it to the dead fish, but this <s>week</s> month is just too busy; back to back race weekends, team bikes to prep :evil, etc. No wiggle room.

Do we want to try the Dead Fish for NEXT Tuesday (5/20)? I'm in for next week (my travel just got cancelled).

Sounds like not enough for a critical mass this week.

Louisiana Inmate JayElDee is leaving Half Moon Bay just around 11:45a today -- I advised him to head to the Beach Chalet, plan to meet him there around 12:30

Any other ADV inmates in SF with lunch time free -- join us -- little lunch maybe, or just Golden Gate Bridge escort... send me a PM or just show up!
