Yeah, I did the whole high line from Williston to Whitefish a couple of weeks ago. Nothing like crossing the wide open spaces.

That picture pretty well sums up all riding on the great plains. :lol3

Nothin like a stiff crosswind for 3-400 miles to mess with your head, plus the 100 degree temps.
The next day it was snowing ontop of the Going to the Sun road.

Just want to say thanks to everyone that enjoys my pics, its appreciated. I also appreciate all the other poster to this thread and thanks for sharing your photos.

I decided to ride on my side of the river the other day for you all (east of the Missouri river) the prairie pothole region. A lot flatter and full of wetland potholes.

First off a ran into a grassnado, sorta like a sharknado...:lol3

Ran into a lot of this... roads that are no more and routed around the the water.

Another dying little farming community... The gas station that is no more.

I cant say enough good things about this Bike, enough power to get ya into serious trouble but eats up the miles like nobodies bushiness, and a fuel range that will let me ride all day without even thinking about when or where i should get gas... got my dream bike and pretty happy with it after 6 years. Still puts a big smile on my face each time i fire it up.

Dusty, some familiar places in your pictures there..I really enjoy the pothole region and the endless dirt roads with water along them. Especially like the area north of Tuttle up in the hills were I found some petroglyphs and also like the area south of Woodworth near Clear Lake..

Recently returned from the ride to the MOA rally in Salem. I returned across Montana and North Dakota - really beautiful country out there.
