So the track bike sold last night! :clap This means the quandary as to which bike to bring grows as I just finalized the order for shocks for the pig.

The missus hasn't let me know what they've come back with in terms of moving to CO just yet, but if it looks like we're moving, then she will definitely come.

If we're not moving, then I might bring the pig just b/c the puppy is too young (will be at 12 weeks) to have had the second round of shots for Parvo and I don't want the boss nervous about it.

His big brother, though, won't have any problems...

Looking to come out on Friday early am, probably just for the day, head back home that night. Any rides planned for the day? Dale Lion (chillum) may or may not make it too. Im not all that familiar with DV but some of the pics look amazing (just like Huell would say). Im planning on packing extra gas for extended range.

Oh yeah, by 'we' I mean a buddy of mine riding in with me on an R1200RT and wifey will be around for Sat and Sunday. Plenty of room for another vehicle and 4-5 more people. And now a quote from John Steinbeck:

"The nature of parties has been imperfectly studied. It is, however, generally understood...that a party hardly ever goes the way it is planned or intended"

Mike, it's a 4-5 hour ride out. Rides leave camp between 8 and 9am. You would have to leave home at 3:00am to guarantee that you catch a ride. You would most likely not be back to camp until dark and tired as shit, and then you would ride home after riding very long dirt miles (not CNF) and you would not et home until after midnight? :huh

I've been known for doing some crazy, dare I day Stupid things. But that plan is dickriculous.

It's a long ass day trip, that's for sure.
    I wouldn't do it on a bet.

Plan on leaving the day/night before, even if you get to camp late at night, have a ride the next day and then go home that night at the absolute minimum.

    Distances are huge in DV.

Even the smallest loop involving dirt is north of 150 miles.

We'll see, but remember, a vagina around your dick is not considered riding gear.

Absolutely nothing like a Vegas run unless you plan on just hanging out in camp by yourself once you get there, because everyone will be out riding dirt all day. The only similarity is that you'll be on a bike.

I've decided on the WR. I spent today doing some basic maintenance and looking things over. Last thing will be to put new handle bars on, and I'll be ready to rock.

I also did a test fit with the camper.

Yup, I'm gonna be comfy. :clap
