    Hi Igorpetrovich,

can you tell us something about the headlight-performance? Is it better than its predecessor?

I wonder if the windshield from the 1190 will fit on the 1190 R? for those cold days when more wind protection would be nice or long trips.

I havent tried to drive at night, it seams better though.
What is different is that the bean light is automatic, activeted by a sensor. works very well.

I am sure they will figure out an elegant solution, well probably not Akra they are too tied in with Mattighofen, so probably just Wings.

Then we need a damned good hacker to get rid of all the electronic shite. (The russians?) Then we may have the makings a of a good un. :lol3

    Until then....I`s just watching

BTW I went down to the new KTM superstore in Santiago today as the eagle has finally landed here...bad news it is down in Talca at the KTM stall at the World Enduro Championship round. Good news is I set off at 7 AM tomorrow to go watch :clap

The exhaust is a pig but is functional in that it gets the bike past the greenies and on to market. The fact you will be able to remove it and bolt on an aftermarket one that is lighter, runs a lot cooler, uncorks the engine, and looks better does not mean the manufactures got it wrong, its just they had to play to different rules. The the rest of the bike looks pretty good so that shows the designers knew what they were doing and how hard it is to get an exhaust looking any good and still compliant. I think they probably know its a porker and most riders will ditch it for something more sexy :sweeti in fact its almost a given :lurk

you need to upload the photo to a photo hosting site (smugbug or photobucket) then copy and paste the link into the "insert image box"

Iv got an 1190 RC8 to commute 70 Ks on each day, the 35 Ks one way trip takes just over 9 mins once im clear of town, and now they make an Adventurer of it? ,, I dont think I will be taking much notice of the on board gear/shift light or pondering on the status of my rider load settings if im over reving in 5th @200Km/hr on a dirt road, whoohah better start saving for one of these babies.
