The Broncos deserverd to loose. after the touch downs the ravens did, then not adequitly covering a pass, when that was the ONLY option for them to stay in the game, rediculous. Game over!

Manning blew in OT with an inexcusable bad pass. He shouldn't have thrown it.

Possibly our worst defensive effort of the year. Confusion in the secondary from start to finish. Game never should have went to OT

Well, Peyton shouldn't have thrown that pass where he did, but I'm still damned impressed with the guy. Baltimore is a weird team. When the right one shows up, they're freakin' tough. I was rootin' for Denver, and I'm a little shocked they lost that one at home.

What's with taking the last 31 seconds of regulation off with the defense worn out, two timeouts, and only fifty or so yards to go for a game winning field goal? A lot can be done with 31 seconds, two time outs, and a quarterback who is very good at this stuff.

Let's just give the defense 20 minutes or so to rest up for OT?

    WTF?

Yes, the secondary defense was the story of the game. The bad pass that Peyton threw was at the tailend of many great completions. Now that Peyton's story for the season (a great one) is over:

    SQUAWK HAWKS!!!!

And my favorite quarterback, Russell Wilson brings it to the other birds, the Falcons.

I was/am amazed at the horrible play by the DB's. I was even MORE amazed at the incompetence of John Fox and Co. with regards to coaching!! (Or lack thereof)

I saw several Champ Bailey #24 jerseys in trash cans when I went out today.

Yeah, Wilson played his usual stellar game, but the secondary pass defense was too loose with 31 seconds left, just like the Broncs.

It wasn't Champ's fault. With the speed and skill of #18 for the Ravens, there should have always been a double team on him, with the result we could have gotten at least one more interception and one less touchdown.

......... for this year. Might watch the Superbowl if someone I like is throwing a good party. Poor coaching cost the Broncos this one.

After Bailey got burned the FIRST time, they should have made adjustments. That never happened, and THE TEAM suffered for it. :huh

With 2 minutes left in the game, offense has the ball, 7 point lead, opponents with no time-outs left...... decision is made to run the ball on 3rd down and 7 yards. Why do that, when the Raven's run defense has been strong ALL DAY, and a first-down completion means a win? :huh

I am surrounded at work by Broncos, Dallas, Green Bay, Washington, and Seattle fans.

There will be a lot of miserable people. :(:

Overtime. Overtime. Never should have been an overtime. :D

I was watching the game at a local watering hole with a couple of amigos. When they duffed the field goal ...... I looked over at my amigos and said, "bet you a beer that THAT comes back to haunt us." I WAS HOPING THAT I WAS GONNA BE WRONG ....... but no such luck.

Poor effort for sure. Looked like one of my golf shots with a pitching wedge .......... you know, hitting the ground about 12" BEHIND the ball! :lol3

Glad that they pulled their season back together as well as they did though.

I have a theory that Manning injured either his arm or hand sometime late in the game. Mid 4th quarter. After that point, all passes were of the short variety, they then abandoned the pass and went run-only as you mentioned and tried to hide Peyton's injury. They continued to run in OT until Peyton's poorly thrown INT.

Just a theory, but I found it odd that they so readily abandoned the passing game. A hidden Manning injury might explain why.

    No kidding it shouldn't have.

Cuz if it weren't for two freak runbacks by Holiday, Denver wasn't even in the game.

Defense was on their heels and Offense had a hard time keeping things rolling too. Manning didn't get the time in the pocket he had most of the season and his throws seems to be short more often than not.
