When I packed for our adventure to Wetfest, all I was missing was the chicken coop. Now I've got the hot setup, chicken's are hidden below. It was such a nice day that I couldn't stand it. Just a couple of days ago I received a bag from Dave and wanted to see how it would work. Just because I can't do anything is no excuse! I had wifey wrap my chest up tight in the biggest ace bandage I could find. Heck, I'm fine. Just no bumpy stuff and don't let Big Girl take a nap, 'cause she'd be sleeping there for the winter. oser I head for the Burger Barn in Darrington for lunch. Then down Mtn Loop Hwy to White Chuck, and then back to Darrington on FS 24. Back to Swede Haven and FS 18 to FS 17. It was too nice of a day to come back Hwy 20. Cumberland Pass and the wooden swan. I was OK as long as I didn't hit anything, or deep potholes. The problem was they had recently graded 17 and I found myself going way too fast at times. There was too much traffic for much hooliganism. I made it home safe and sound with everything I left with, so that's a good sign. 207 smiles. Way to go, Dave, that thing is too cool! If only I was smart enough to get it BEFORE my big trip.
What could have possibly made you do that? Looks much better and I knof for a fact it rode better. Time for more trips
I was up on cumberland pass yesterday morning (5-10 a.m.) looking for "Mountain Chickens" (the kind that don't live in a coop). The state had the road all dug up just north of the wooden swan. Were you able to get big girl around or did they fill in the trench?
Travis, when I rode through there Sunday afternoon it was wide open the whole way. Some of it was too good, if you know what I mean. Saw several chickens.
I thought you would have stopped for a burger and flies at Skidders. I think a Wolfman Enduro tank bag would look nice on the Big Girl. Send me an IM.
Yeah, I saw 2 fall out of the sky right in front of me. I think I got the one that Attacked you on the Hired gun Run. :dg
Izzat the big Great Loop bag, Keith? Niiice! I just got the coyote size for my 5-1/4. I'm going to crash test it in Baja later this month. BTW- I've been attacked by mountain chickens too. Got hit square in the back one time. We made up 'round the campfire, tho...
Luckily, the one that had it out for Keith when Ape Shit on his Headlight. Funny as Hell to see from behind though. Them Birds are Crazy. :huh
Great Basin. I was looking around the garage for stuff to fill it up with. oser Just wanted to see how it worked, works good!
