Ya gotta keep up...we just went for new scenery. Melissa was nice even if she did charge Peterman an extra buck to carry his beer to the table. They had better beer but the food was just average... It was nice for us Westsiders to not have to navigate the entire urban jungle for a change...... You know it's all about Hope and change....where have I heard that before?:lol3

Now I LIKE these lights, but they need to be a little smaller and lighter. I took it upon myself to make alterations. To start, this is what the heat sink weighs (click on the image to enlarge)

start with the saw to cut the back fins off so the live center can be used

then turn the outside holding on the ID

mill a new mount, tap the clamp holes, there is lots of metal here

now the new weight, about half

and with some paint, the new look

I tested how hot they would get in this new shape, on ten minutes in still air, I measured 114^F. Now they can be tucked where I want them. :d

Are they MAG? Now I think about it, they must. They turned a off color in the ultra sonic tank.

About the only positive thing I can say about the Overtime is that the service was excellent and friendly.

The Ovaltine had way better service. They were quite friendly. The big Oval Table was better for general BS'n. The parking sucks, especially for bikes. They have Espresso Stout on tap...

What say we try either Good Times or Quackers this week. The parking at Quackers is a plus. I haven't been inside either one for many sleeps. :ear
