i was up there around 1, rode around a bit, then decided to try my look up lookout from the front side. my little wr did well, zipped up the first hillclimb but on the second one i made it almost to the top. once i stalled i decided just to turn around. i was really only about 20 meters from the top but it was pretty loose to start on. i wiggle-turned and set the wr down to take these pics:

you know the drill, steeper than it looks, yadda yadda.

this was fine, picked the bike up, continued to turn around however when i got about 3/4 around i shifted my weight to my left foot, which unfortunately was waay off the ground as it was on the downhill side.

that was a bit of a whack as the bike threw me off downhill... dumb dumb dumb.

anyway i met a guy on an old dr650 who provided me with a rolling rock :1drink or two and everything felt better. i made it back down the way i had come, although i was pretty much sliding the whole way on the last (first) one. seemed looser than it was when i came up!

putted around a bit more but was losing light so that was it... good thing this wr is so light to pick up. :D

Your tires must last forever riding like that.

Keeping an eye on this thread now that I have ofishul USFS spark arrester screens on the 950A. Is this area decent on the big bike or not advised?
