Yeah. I have a Eastern Beaver power block installed for the lights and GPS mount. The lights are switched and the GPS mount was empty during the holiday. I'll check that out first. Kind of figured it just cranked slow because that's the way it is. We'll see tomorrow.

I'm not scheduled to be in Jackson for two weeks or I'd exchange it there. I don't darken Village Cycle's door anymore:deal.

My original wasn't prep'd right when installed. I don't think the battery they gave the S10 has enough ass to give the crank a lively spin due to the crank configuration and the compression that the bike has. The bike needs a compression release like some of the 4 stroke dirt bikes.

Get a battery tender every bike needs one if you don't like buying batteries. Never had battery trouble with my bike. Yes a spoke or three has come loose on the rear wheel. Lanny fixed it locally and I have filed a complaint with Yamaha and got a decent response, they are looking into it.

Guess we can't all own a Triumph :csm

not that we'd won't one when we already got the best.

Wish I could make it down there. It's only 3.5 hrs each way for me...

I think I'll go up to Bankhead NF instead. I keep meaning to check that place out more.

well the only riding I did today was on a 1980 Honda ATC70 that's a tiny 3-wheeler for any that don't know. yes I still have my first gas powered ride. :D Also had my smaller racing quad out for a spin. I sure miss that. i know all of y'all are motorcycle people and so am i but I'm yet to get the rush on 2 wheels that I do on those 4, That little quad is like having powered skates on your feat.:evil

spent the rest of the day moving things around in my shop. found the battery in the little CL100 was leaking acid, so I pulled it and cleaned up the mess it was making. then started moving things around to get more space to lay the Raptor motor out when i take it apart. it's time for that monster to come alive again.:evil
