Well......I obviously need the filter to try and give this beast of burden a break on the trail......

.....and as it spends so much of it's time literally laying in the dirt, the poor beast needs all the help it can get,,,,,,

    ....and yet another dirt nap....

.....and while I really could use the filter.....and even though I've never met him, I'll probably have to vote for Laramie as well. He appears to be quite a guy....although with that HALO going on, you'd think he could just ask God not to have any dust on his rides...:D :rofl :D Good Luck Laramie! :clap

never seems to work though. the good news is you just have to be faster than the guy directly in front of you, then no more dust.

    Hello everyone. :wave

So I've got a 07 KTM SE that is my best friend.
Every year, we go off on some 3000 to 4000 mile dirt ride, exploring the super remote areas of the American west.
The distances between towns for fuel and water is often 300+ miles.
To accomplish this the SE has over 10 gallons of fuel capacity.
We carry 10 liters of water and food for two or three days.
The areas are usually dry and dusty, and it's a massive pain in the a$$ to keep the air filter clean.
A Rottweilier Intake and filter skin would make maintenance so much easier.

So here are some pictures of places I've gone with the SE.
    Copper basin in Idaho.

Pony Express trail from Wyoming to California.

Crossing the great salt lake of Utah.

Following the original Trans-continental railroad grade near Promontory Point Utah.

    Washington Backcountry Discovery Route
    [IMG]

Needless to say we go to a lot of places and keeping the air filter clean is a top priority.

As for nominating another rider, I'll vote for "Ohpyramids".
He seems to have been bitten by the the KTM bug really bad.

I gotta say that there are lots of deserving folks here, but there are some extra special ones (Questor) the guy is Super Enduro.
I had the priveledge to enjoy his tent space offer along with the wild bunch! Five star service.
So my vote is for him along with some batteries and SD card to document his next adventure.

High to Big Dog, Dingweeds, Byways and the rest of the "Wild Bunch"!

One for Questor - he does need two of them. One for the SE and one for his 950ADV. Agree - some of the best ride reports out there - and he bleeds ORANGE!

Well, I would love a Rotweiller intake for ease of cleaning filters and breathability, currently running pretty much a stock setup which is a lot more difficult and time consuming to change and clean the filter.

Riding around the world and not having access to filters in many places makes servicing difficult so to have a cleanable reusable filter with huge capacity to carry dirt without suffocating the bike would be awesome.

Dear Mr.Rotweiller we have a space for your stickers on our panniers and room for a nice foam filter under the tank :D

From La Ventana sands on the Baja....

As you can see Maya loves rolling around in the dirt like the others ... must talk to KTM about this inherent fault :D

We did have a Rotweiller filter set but had to sell it to help pay for massive repairs to the bike.

She deserves a great filter to keep her lungs and heart happy :clap and like all RTW travellers we are on a budget and trying to make ends meet so it this would be just the best

He loves his SE, is a true world traveler...
To bad he's a bloody wanking Aussie.

    But still.
    +1 for Maya the SE.
