As I mentioned, pretty sure the Conti's are the main problem. It's "twitchy" beyond reason when the pavement is not perfect. Like a worn out bias ply tire kind of twitchy. I can feel it through the bars.

I'll play with the suspension. I know I need to do that.

    They arrived. :clap

I won't get them on for awhile though. They'll go on when the bike gets back home.

Anyone have recommendations where to buy the Givi screen from in the US? I looked at my normal places an they don't have one in stock.

Try ktm twins or twisted throttle. Twisted throttle might be your best bet. I think they are located in RI.

Nah, he's in Liverpool. They have a famous video game team, I hear.

On a SMT related note, I'm thinking of trying out the Rottweiler intake. Any comments on that?

I don't have a lot of miles on it yet, but I like mine. I pulled the acctuator rods and secondary flies at the same time and with the tune it runs smoother and accelerates quicker. Oh, and the noise it makes is fun too!

I like the smoother part. I dislike city riding as it is, smoother will help. That's one thing that was not exaggerated about the bike. Engine manners at lower RPMs/speeds are bad.

I never noticed any low throttle issues. I did have a starting issue when I first got it. It was like the choke wasn't coming on. I fixed that with the 15 min idle reset. Have you tried that?

I'm referring to the jerky on/off that happens in parking lots. Is this what your talking about as well?

I never noticed the jerky throttle thing either on the demo day when I got to ride an SMT. We even turned around in a parking lot to make the return trip to the dealer and the bike remained very smooth even at crawling slow speed. I still preferred the power delivery, riding position, stiffer suspension, and lack of wind buffeting on the Super Duke to the SMT but there's no denying the SMT is a very nice, very smooth light touring machine.

Well, I'll have to try to reset the ECU. Thx
