It looks similar, but yours has more of a squared off area for the handlebar

The inside has some sort of black liner that is peeling, but the outside is red metal flake :evil

Only real issue with it is the clear coat is gone on the front, I was going to respray it, but never got around to it.

I'd agree with most the statements, except fast, and I might add good braking.

that single puny carb just doesn't let them breathe very well.

Hi folks. New member here. Thought I'd start off by showing a few of my old bikes.

1983 Heritage Special, various bolt on mods for improved looks and function. Bought it for $500 as a non runner but complete. Ditched much of the "specialness" to make it more of a standard style bike. LOADS of fun at legal speeds. Could use a bit more elbow grease to remove the last bit of wear and tear, but as I have yet to wash my 2004 Bandit 1200S after 3 years of ownership, I'm more of a rider than a polisher.

1983 GS1100E. Mostly stock. Waiting in the wings for a SEVERE motor upgrade, GSXR bits for the suspension, etc. The usual torture these bikes accept with aplomb.

Anyone here from the other sites I'm a member of will no doubt be sick of seeing these pictures yet again, but your fresh eyes were ripe for the whoring, so here they are.

    Previous bikes, 650 Seca Turbo, Seca 900, GS1000S with 83 1100 motor,1983 GS550E, 1975 GT380 and 1980 CB650.

Great site you have here. Although I must admit I have lost a couple of night's sleep with all the new projects it has inspired.

Thank you. Actually, my 6'-2" 37" sleeve frame LOVED them, but EVERY time someone looked at the bike, a desparaging comment ensued. So, in the interest of originality, I endure the ergo's :1drink

Always loved that paint scheme. I had a 73 TX500 with the same graphics.

Izat a '47 in the background? Nice TX500! They would howl when duly twisted, short stroke engine, as is the 750.

Kudos to my Nephew at DangerBoy Enterprises for the paintwork!:freaky

Why yes it is. My Dad worked for Delta at the Atlanta jet base. I came by to see him at work one day and they had just finished servicing a new 747 (circa 1974) and it was sitting on the tarmac. You couldn't get that close today.
